Project Details
In 2021, Sol Systems and Walmart completed an 11-system, 6.5 MW portfolio of rooftop and carport solar projects across 7 Walmart Supercenters in Southern California.
The arrays, built during COVID-19 following all necessary safety protocols, provide power directly to all 7 Walmart Supercenters, each housing a rooftop array and 4 of the stores paired with a carport array. Sol Systems and Walmart have a 15-year PPA agreement in place for the solar power generated from the portfolio.
