Sol Systems Adds ‘Force Multipliers’ as Firm Accelerates Growth

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Sol Systems today announced the addition of two industry veterans to its leadership team, Rohit Marwaha and Andrew Williams. Rohit Marwaha joins as Vice President of Risk & Trading Operations, and Andrew Williams as Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs Energy Infrastructure and Markets.

Rohit and Andrew will join the Sol Executive Team as part of the company’s recent investment in expansion. Rohit will manage Sol’s growing Risk and Operations Team to support Sol’s recent move into managing electricity and environmental commodity risk. Andrew will lead Sol’s growing policy team as it creates and shapes renewable energy markets throughout the United States.

Prior to Sol Systems, Rohit Marwaha was Managing Director at Constellation, overseeing various business units including wholesale utility load auctions, retail pricing, and the West trading desk. During his time there he built and managed one of the largest wholesale load auction platforms in the country. Rohit also originated, analyzed, negotiated, and executed structured energy transactions at Constellation.

Andrew Williams joins Sol Systems from the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), and has extensive experience ranging from management consulting and sustainability policy to government, regulatory and legislative affairs. Andrew most recently represented EDF as Director of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs, U.S. climate and energy, where he helped shape EDF’s state-level domestic advocacy strategy. Prior to EDF, Andrew served as Vice President and General Counsel for Hickory Creek Ventures. Andrew built his early career in the oil and gas industry, where he last served as an Operational Officer for Atlas Pipeline Mid-Continent in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
