WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 6, 2021 – Today, Sol Systems, LLC announced the addition of three veteran energy executives, Patty Rollin, Mary Beth Mandanas, and Hans Dyke to its expanding team. The move creates new pathways to expand Sol Systems’ Impact + Infrastructure platform that enables clients to simultaneously invest in renewable energy and communities.

Collectively, Rollin, Mandanas, and Dyke bring significant executive and energy industry experience to the Sol Systems team, further solidifying Sol Systems as a national leader in the solar development and finance industry—an industry outpacing other energy sources in new installed electricity generation capacity and is valued at $24.1 billion, according to data published by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA).

“Sol enables and empowers its partners to drive a more sustainable future and invest in communities,” said Yuri Horwitz, Sol Systems’ Chief Executive Officer. “Hans, Mary Beth and Patty are a key part of expanding our business to meet the needs of corporate, institutional and municipal partners executing on this vision. I’m both grateful and proud to welcome them.”

Rollin has joined as Vice President of Utility Development and will manage Sol’s work with partners to develop offsite Utility-Scale projects for clients. Mandanas has joined as Chief Investment Officer and will lead structured finance and capital formation. Dyke has joined as General Counsel and will help guide the strategy of Sol’s growing enterprise.

Before joining Sol Systems, Rollin served as Vice President at AES Solar/Silver Ridge Power where she led the origination, development and contracting of 900MW. She held the previous role of Vice President at American Capital Energy and Infrastructure (ACEI) where she originated and managed global power investments.

Mandanas joins Sol Systems following five years as Chief Strategy Officer at CleanChoice Energy. Prior to CleanChoice, she worked in corporate and investment banking for over 20 years, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Power/Utilities in RBC Capital’s Corporate Banking division, and as Managing Director in the North American Power and Utilities Group at Citi and prior to that with Credit Suisse.

Dyke joins Sol Systems from Bracewell LLP, where he was a partner in the firm’s energy and infrastructure group and helped lead its renewable energy practice. He has represented Sol Systems on a number of transactional, commercial and regulatory matters as outside counsel.
