Dan Diamond is the CDO and leads the Development and EPC teams. The development team originates utility scale projects through both early and late-stage acquisitions and through early-stage greenfield efforts. The team develops the project’s site control, interconnection, permitting, and entitlements to be ready for financing and start of construction. The Engineering, Preconstruction, and Procurement teams develop the site layout, equipment, energy modeling and contract for all materials and installation through module, GSU vendors and EPC Contractors. The Construction team manages the project construction to ensure cost, schedule, quality, safety, and performance to an operating asset.
Mr. Diamond has supported development and managed construction for commercial distributed generation and utility-scale solar projects since 2009. His most recent role was Project Manager at SunEdison, where he supervised a portfolio of distributed generation projects on the east coast. Additionally, he managed construction and operations for various other solar developers. Prior to his experience in the solar industry, he worked as the Project Manager for a retail shopping center development near Atlanta, GA. The four-year, $120M project required 2.1M cubic yards of earth moving and 800,000 cubic yards of rock blasting for the 800,000-square foot shopping center over 100 acres.
