The Nature Conservancy is a leading conservation organization working around the world to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. The Conservancy and its more than 1 million members have protected nearly 120 million acres worldwide.

Before moving to the west coast to open our California office, Stephanie Smith served on the Board of Trustees for the D.C. and Maryland chapter of the Nature Conservancy (TNC). She also founded and chaired TNC’s Generation Conservation (an initiative to mobilize the next generation of conservation supporters). She remains a donor and volunteer. Jessica Robbins was also a founding member of Generation Conservation’s steering committee and continues her involvement there.
