Mr. Horwitz is the founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Sol Systems. Since establishing the company in 2008, he has worked with Sol’s corporate, municipal and institutional clients to enable them to invest in sustainable infrastructure and procure renewable energy to drive community and environmental impact. Under his leadership, Sol is operating and developing over 7 GW of solar projects across the country and provides environmental commodity portfolio management services to over 40,000 customers across the United States.

Mr. Horwitz serves on the Board of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), he is an active member of the Clean Energy Buyers Alliance (CEBA), and is the Chairman of  Renewables Forward.  Mr. Horwitz is an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and was one of Washington Business Journal‘s 40 Under 40.

Yuri holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia and a dual B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
