Matt Strangfeld is Vice President of Development Strategy at Sol Systems. In his most recent role, he was Managing Director and Head at CleanGen, where he led and oversaw all aspects of the company through its first three years of operation. Prior to his role at CleanGen, Matt was Head of Renewable Energy at Bechtel. At Bechtel, he led the company's market entry into the U.S. renewable market by investing in development projects and executing development partnerships. Simultaneously, he led transaction term negotiations and managed each project's due diligence process. Before serving as Head of Renewable Energy, Matt was an Associate and Manager at Bechtel. As Associate and Manager, he held various project finance and project development roles across gas combined-cycle turbine power plants, transportation projects, and data centers. Matt holds a B.A. in History from Washington University and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
