Shannon Meyer-Johanson supports the Policy team at Sol Systems, which creates and shapes renewable energy markets across the United States. Ms. Meyer-Johanson works with all of Sol Systems’ business lines to inform teams of policy decisions and potential impacts. She also helps manage relationships with industry associations, public utility commissions, and state legislatures. She first joined Sol Systems in June 2019 as an intern for the Trading team.
Previously, Ms. Meyer-Johanson worked as a Data Policy Fellow at AARP’s Public Policy Institute during her first year of graduate school. Before moving to D.C. to pursue an MPP, she worked as an Associate Consultant for a technical consulting firm in San Francisco (Beghou Consulting) where she provided data-driven solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech firms.
Ms. Meyer-Johanson graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Environmental Economics & Policy and a B.A. in Geography. She received her MPP from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.
