Rich Baltimore contributes to the success of Sol Systems’ solar assets at every point in their life-cycle – from origination to commissioning – by leveraging his broad and deep experience in renewable energy development, engineering and construction management, and corporate sustainability consulting.
As a member of the development team, Mr. Baltimore manages multiple portfolios of solar assets and works hand-in-hand with Sol Systems’ customers, investors, consultants, and contractors to lead projects through preliminary design, utility interconnection and local, state and federal permitting challenges.
Prior to joining Sol Systems, Mr. Baltimore was President and CEO of NewAg Development, a biogas energy development company he founded in 2012. Mr. Baltimore has also served as a Manager in the Sustainability practice at Deloitte Consulting where he guided corporate clients to effectively and efficiently reduce their environmental footprint while improving profitability. Mr. Baltimore’s earlier career was focused on engineering and commercial construction management at Skanska and Barton Malow.
Mr. Baltimore earned his MBA at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and his Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Virginia Military Institute.
