Lauren Aycock serves as a Solar Development Engineer for Sol Customer Solutions where she provides technical support throughout the development process. She assists with site assessments and performs preliminary system design and modeling.
Previously, Lauren spent two summers interning at Sol Systems, with roles in both Project Delivery and Development Engineering. Before landing in the solar industry, she held an engineering internship in quality control for a manufacturing group and was involved in undergraduate research on the remote monitoring of commercial vehicle tire pressures to improve fuel economy and sustainability.
Lauren holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa. She is a licensed Engineer in Training (EIT) under the District of Columbia Board of Professional Engineering.
