Grace Kankindi works on the Structured Finance team, supporting tax equity and structured finance transactions. She performs due diligence, underwriting, financial modeling, document organization, and preparation of investment committee materials for prospective deals.
Previously, Ms. Kankindi worked at ICF International in Virginia, Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment, and Prevention against Climate Change of Quebec in Canada, and International Gorilla Conservation Program in Rwanda.
Ms. Kankindi graduated from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies where she received a master’s degree in Environmental Management. At Yale, she focused her studies on renewable energy finance, was a co-leader of the Africa Student Interest Group, and a Yale World Fellow Liaison for Pablo Bereciartua – Current Undersecretary of Water Resources of Argentina. She is a former student advisory board member for the Yale Young African Scholars Program, bringing together over 100 African high school students in Rwanda and Zimbabwe. Ms. Kankindi holds a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering with a specialization in Environment from the University of Manitoba in Canada. Additionally, she speaks French and English fluently.
