Aaron Bartell is a senior member of the legal team at Sol Systems, where he provides legal and strategic advice throughout the company with respect to development, M&A, and financing of solar projects; commercial transactions; and company governance and operations.
Mr. Bartell brings to Sol more than a decade of experience at two of the top law firms in the renewable energy industry. Most recently, he was Senior Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where he represented sponsors, investors, and lenders in a wide variety of M&A and financing transactions involving renewable energy projects, with an emphasis on utility-scale and distributed generation solar projects. Prior to joining Akin Gump, he was an associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright LLP), where he was a member of the project finance practice after starting his career in the firm’s telecommunications, media, and technology practice.
Mr. Bartell received his B.A. in History from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
