At Sol Systems, Olga Zelenova oversees all critical accounting functions including financial reporting, consolidation, taxes, budgeting, internal controls, accounting policies, and other general accounting functions. She is also responsible for the analysis of the financial data and accounting impact as it relates to strategic transactions and new contracts.
Before joining Sol Systems, Ms. Zelenova served as an Accounting Manager at Silver Ridge Power (formerly AES Solar) where she oversaw and coordinated financial and reporting function, tax accounting and consolidation process between local GAAPs, IFRS and the US GAAP for multiple international projects located in 9 countries with a fleet of over 300 solar plants. Prior to that, Ms. Zelenova spent 5 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Consumer Industrial Products and Services (CIPS) group where she was working with the US and global (IFRS) clients in public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. Ms. Zelenova has spent over ten years in the field of global finance, accounting, and auditing.
Ms. Zelenova received her MBA in 2012 from the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University, where she was the President of Professionals in Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian Affairs and a member of Georgetown Women in Business. She holds B.A. degree in International Business from Lakeland College, WI. In 2002 Ms. Zelenova received the “Best Potential” award among undergraduate students in Estonia from the government organization Estonian Human Resource Management Association PARE for her thesis, The employment of people with disabilities in Latvia.
