Liz Barentzen

Chief Culture Officer

Liz Barentzen brings extensive experience overseeing human resources activities. As the Chief Culture Officer, she fosters alignment between Sol’s high-performance culture, strategy, and operations, while ensuring commitment to the growth and development of team members.

Previously Ms. Barentzen served as the Director of Workforce Relations at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation where she managed training and development, employee and labor relations, performance management and recognition, and the HR information technology system (HRIS). During her time at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, she advised executives on performance management and employee and labor relations issues. Additionally, she worked for Personnel Decisions International, managing human resources and operations in the New York office.

Ms. Barentzen is a certified executive coach and a graduate of the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Program. She received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and a B.A. in Psychology from New York University.
